About Smile
Smile is fresh and modern driving school operating in the Northampton area. Smile
aim to provide quality, professional driving lessons in a friendly and pleasant
environment, enabling you to learn and develop your driving skills in a calm and cool manner.
Instructor
My name is Ginny Simpson and I am a fully qualified and CRB checked Driving Standards Agency
approved driving instructor (ADI), I have been teaching people to drive in and around Northampton
since 2006. I live locally and am not part of a huge faceless franchise! I am friendly
but professional and will help you to learn in a fun and relaxed atmosphere at your
pace!
Courses:
Beginner - teaching you everything you need to know from the complete basics right
through to passing your practical driving test!
Refresher - bringing your driving back up to test standard, maybe helping you to
regain your driving confidence after a break in your driving career or teaching you
how to park if you're struggling!
Motorway - all you need to know about driving on the motorway system
Pass Plus - further training available to new drivers - a minimum of 6 hours further
training after passing your Practical Driving Test - no test is required, just an
assessment by your driving instructor and this may entitle you to a discount on your insurance
(please check that your insurance company participate in this scheme)
Taxi Test Training - guiding you through all the necessary training to take your Taxi Driving Test
The Car:
The tuition car is a 2010 BMW Mini Cooper D with a manual 6 speed gearbox (please note we are unable to offer Automatic driver training at this time) and has the following features:
- He-man dual controls
- Power Assisted Steering
- ABS
- Air Conditioning
- Zillions of airbags
- Height adjustable seats & steering
- Automatic lights
- Automatic wipers
- Heated front screen, rear screen, door mirrors & washer jets
The Lessons:
All driving lessons are tailored to your needs and learning speed - we are all different after all! Your driving lesson progress will be recorded at the end of each session, so that you can see how you are doing and what you have left to cover. I also provide all beginner
students with a starter pack which includes fully illustrated sheets complimenting each element of your driving lesson. I am more than happy to help you with your driving test theory and hazard perception study too. All driving lessons are all carried out on a one to one basis and can be an hour, an hour and a half or two hours long and you can take as many sessions per week as you would like - Smile Driving School offer generous discounts for purchasing a pre-paid block bookings of 5 or 10 hours - please call on 07951 602220 for our current price list.
